    Marathon Velocity
        November 26, 2014

Larry ran in a marathon. He had a very good race and wants to calculate what his average velocity was throughout the race.
Unfortunately the racing officials messed up when he crossed the finish line and did not record his finish time.
At the quarter way checkpoint Larry recorded a time of 30 minutes. Assuming that Larry finished the race at a declining pace of 10% every quarter (10.55km) until the finish of the race, what was Larry's average velocity (km/h) in the race?
