An imaginary bathtub is partially clogged in an imaginary Motel. This could be disastrous. Imagine if the bathtub overflowed and spilled all over the Motel floor? This might be a nightmarish possibility.
The bathtub faucet fills at a rate of 10 liters per minute. The clogged drain is draining at 6 liters per minute. When the bathtub is 80% full the water reaches the overflow drain which drains at 3 liters per minute.
If the bathtub has a capacity of 160 liters, how much time in minutes do the Motel owners have to reach the bathtub?
