        January 29, 2015

Larry, who doesn't normally gamble, is playing a dice game with his kids. He wants to devise a system where he (the house) will always win in the end.
The game is simple. His kids pay $5 and roll two, six-sided dice. If the dice add up to seven his children win a predetermined amount.
According to the odds, how much should Larry award to his children on a winning roll to maintain a house edge of two-to-one?
